There are two replication types:
Online replication - is data exchange between two
database servers, connected directly (online). It is used
for working on the road (or at home) without Internet connection.
Offline replication - is data exchange between two
database servers by email. Data packages are attached to
email messages, sent between the computers.
It is used to exchange and synchronize data between remote
offices by email.
Terrasoft CRM can be supplied with Replication Utility to enable
users take advantages of remote working on the road and data
exchange between remote offices. Data exchange can be processed
automatically after certain period of time.
The Replication Utility includes the following files:
- Replication.exe - replication
settings utility;
- Replication_S.exe - replication
utility.
- cm_empty.bak - backup file
for buffer database
- cm_clear.bak - backup file
for remote User database
- CandS.bak - backup file
for Office Server database
